They're Back! Students will be returning to school on Jan. 19th

Dear Mansfield Families,

You are receiving this message because you are a family that is newly returning to in-person instruction on January 19th.  Welcome back!  I’m sure you have many questions about the changes we’ve made to our daily operations since you last attended in-person classes.  My hope is to make you aware of a few points of interest that will help smooth your transition back.

  • A daily Covid form must be completed every morning by 7:15 in the parent portal of Genesis.  Students without a completed form will be sent home.

  • All students and staff must wear a mask for the entire time they are in the school regardless of distance from others.  Masks may only be removed while actively eating.

  • Masks must be worn for the entire duration of the bus ride.

  • Students should bring a bottle of water.  Drinking fountains are turned off.

  • School issued laptops need to be brought to school each day.  Please ensure it is charged when your child arrives at school.

  • Additional textbooks and materials will not be provided in the new class.  Please bring all materials used for remote learning back to school in the first few days.

  • Free lunch is available to all students.

  • For those not taking the bus, dropoff and pickup take place at the gymnasium entrance.  Students and parents remain in cars until they reach the front of the line and are assisted by a staff member.

All students will remain in their current homeroom until we return to in-person instruction.  Upon returning to the building,  your child’s new homeroom teacher will be %%%%%%%%%%%%.  If your child is unfamiliar with finding their new homeroom they should ask a staff member for assistance.  We will have extra staff available to assist with such needs.

I look forward to your family’s return to our in-person instruction.  If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
